Hi all! My name is Emmelia and I live in Oregon with my dog and little buddy, Peanut. I work in a library, which is pretty much my dream job since I love reading and being surrounded by books all day. My favorite genres, both for reading and writing, are: SciFi/Fantasy, Horror, and Paranormal. One of my favorite books is The Last Unicorn.
Some of my hobbies are, aside from reading and writing: dance (mainly belly and salsa), fishing, swimming/mermaiding, camping, and gardening. I'm hoping to go back to school soon for library science as my job is more than just a job for me. I'd like to turn it into a career.
I took French in high school and I started learning Spanish not that long ago. Where I live Spanish is a very useful language to know for work, but I also love learning languages in general. It's a fun skill. :)
I created this blog because I'm currently writing a book and I wanted a place where I could track my progress and promote my work when it's finished. One of my lifelong dreams is to be a published writer, and it's exciting to finally see that dream becoming a reality.
